OTTAWA COUNTY RESIDENTS TORNADO
RELIEF FUNDRAISER JUNE 12, 2010
There was $16,075.00 raised by the generosity of the good people of Ottawa County to be given to victims of the tornado(s) that permanently altered the lives of 21 families of Ottawa County.
The fundraiser was organized and sponsored by the Genoa Downtown Merchants.
The funds will distributed to the 21 families that have been displaced from their home by the tornado's destruction. Each family will receive a $765.50 VISA card in which to help meet their immediate expenses. The cards will be distributed by Stephanie Kowal of the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family Services.
