Kevin was born in Oregon, Ohio but grew up in and around Genoa. He is a graduate of Genoa High School and the University of Toledo Community Technical.
Kevin’s wife Suzanne and their three children, daughter Maggie and sons Sy and Andrew enjoy hearing Kevin at various Genoa sporting events, as Kevin is presently the “Voice of the Genoa Comets” announcer. Kevin is also an honorary member of the Clay-Genoa Fire Department. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys immersing himself in Science Fiction books.
Kevin was elected to Genoa Council in 1995. He served on the Finance Committee and for two years as chairperson for the Streets & Sidewalks Committee and the Safety Committee before taking the position as the Public Works Director.
Kevin is a member of American Public Power Association; American Waterworks Association; AMP-Ohio Safety Sub-Committee; Ohio Rural Water Association; and the Ohio Water Environment Association.

Chuck was born in Fremont, Ohio and raised on the outskirts of the Village of Elmore. Chuck is a graduate of what was once known as Harris-Elmore High School (now known as Woodmore High School). Chuck graduated from Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana.
Chuck is father to Peter, Kyle, and Shane who have made him a proud grandfather. Chuck divides his spare time between attending auctions; buying and selling antiques; and cheering on the OSU Buckeyes!
Chuck joined the Genoa administration staff as Fiscal Officer in August, 2004. He is the Council Clerk and serves on the Records Commission; the Audit Review Committee and the Income Tax Review Board.

Chief Bratton along with his wife of 34 years, have resided in Genoa for 17 years. They have a daughter, who lives in Chicago, Ill.
Chief Bratton has been in law enforcement for close to 39 years. He started his career with the Sylvania Township Police Department, before serving with the Lucas County Sherriff’s Department. He held a position with the Northwood Police Department for 15 years before joining the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, where he was ultimately elected to the position of Sheriff.
In June of 2009 while serving as the Ottawa County Sheriff, Chief Bratton received the Detective Keith Dressel Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award.
Chief Bratton joined the Village of Genoa Police Department in September 2011.

Mike Thomas was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in and around Genoa. Mike attended Genoa High School. After his high school years, Mike went on to attend Owens Community College and the University of Toledo.

Mary Ann was born in Toledo, Ohio but grew up in Curtice, Ohio and graduated from Genoa High School. Mary Ann and her husband, Tom, moved to Michigan shortly after they were married, but decided they wanted to raise their two children Brian (Elizabeth) Bell and Kimberly (Kevin) Witt within the Genoa Village limits. They are proud grandparents to Lauren and Joshua.
When Mary Ann isn’t participating in Jazzercise several times a week, she enjoys reading; listening to music; shopping; and proudly showing her and Tom’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in various custom car shows.
Mary Ann has been employed by the Village of Genoa for 24 years, since 1984. In that time she has worked with 5 mayors and numerous Council members. Mary Ann also serves on the Genoa Retirement Village Advisory Board.

Leeann was born in Oregon, Ohio but is a life-long resident of the Village of Genoa. Leeann graduated from Genoa High School and attended Ohio State University.
Leeann spends the majority of her spare time proudly supporting her son, Seth in the various sporting events he participates in for the Genoa Comets. Leeann’s remaining spare time is spent with family and friends, crocheting and reading.
Leeann joined the administration staff in 1998 as a utilities billing clerk. She has been promoted to utilities/billing manager since then. Leeann is a devoted athletic booster for the Genoa Area Schools, serves on the Park Board Committee, and is the President of the Genoa Firettes (Women’s Auxiliary Fire Department).
