AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH AFFINITY IT GROUP TO REPLACE AND INSTALL THE ADMINISTRATION DOMAIN NAME SERVER (DNS) FOR THE VILLAGE OF GENOA, OHIO AND DECLARING AN MERGENCY.

ORDINANCE AMENDING 34-15 DISTRIBUTING THE COST OF VILLAGE AUDITS AMONG VARIOUS FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE INVESTMENT POLICY, GENOA CODIFIED ORDINANCE 133.05; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
A ORDINANCE DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO RENEW ALL OF AN EXISTING 1.3 MILL TAX LEVY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING CURRENT EXPENSES OF OPERATING, MAINTAINING AND IMPROVING THE VILLAGE OF GENOA PARKS, AND REQUESTING THE OTTAWA COUNTY AUDITOR TO CERTIFY THE TOTAL CURRENT TAX VALUATION OF THE VILLAGE AND THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF REVENUE THAT WOULD BE GENERATED BY THAT RENEWAL LEVY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The Ohio EPA requires a consumer confidence report is mailed to every water customer of the Village of Genoa. This mailing will occur in your next utility bill that will be delivered in June. This report explains where our water comes from and details the tests and results required by the EPA.

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE AMOUNT OF TAXES THAT MAY BE RAISED BY LEVY AT THE MAXIMUM RATES AUTHORIZED BY LAW WITHOUT THE VOTE OF THE ELECTORS TO BE INSUFFICIENT AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF AN ADDITIONAL LEVY IN EXCESS OF SUCH RATES.
The Village of Genoa has teamed up with Clarke Mosquito Control to offer a ZKit to Village residents to control mosquito’s on their property to help fight the spread of the Zika virus. A packet can be obtained along with information on it’s use at the Village Administrative Office, 102 E. 6th St. between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Residents are asked to place one tablet in areas such as rain barrels, bird baths, old tires, etc. Please click on the links below for more information.
